Hi, thanks for help. I'm really excited for your theme but running into errors in installation. I am receiving this error during installation: "
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/39/5174339/html/wp-content/themes/levelup/functions.php on line 2178"

The theme seems to install successfully and upon trying to activate or live preview that error appears, and forces me to disable theme. I've tried updating my PHP settings as that seemed to help others but getting same error regardless. Any help is appreciated.

    Hosting is with GoDaddy

Hi, I've been working on this all morning and a bit frustrated. I believe I updated my PHP settings and was able to get the theme to download, but keep running into errors (attached as 12.30 image) I deleted and re-installed and now can't import any demo theme or have any changes I'm making be reflected within the website. Happy to talk further and see if we can find a way for this theme to work. Thanks. Nick

    Hello,

Please check if your server configuration fits the theme requirements:

    • PHP 5.4 or higher.
    • MySQL 5 or higher.
    • max_execution_time 180
    • memory_limit 128M
    • post_max_size 32M
    • upload_max_filesize 32M
    • max_input_vars 5000 (If the large number of menu items is used)

Note that low PHP configuration limits may cause demo import issues.

There are duplicated menu items on the screenshot you provided. This problem may appear when you pressed “Import Demo” button several times during demo data import process. Go to Appearance > Menus > select your menu and delete all duplicated elements.

    Regards.

    Hi,

I spoke with godaddy -they gave me instructions which I followed to update my PHP settings and it is not being reflected when importing theme or downloading demo. How do I know the settings have been updated? I just want to use your theme, not spend 20 hours trying to install it.

Hi, few hours later, spoke with GoDaddy- they updated the PHP settings and nothings changed from demo import. Still showing issues, theme does not look right, have never experienced this with other themes. Can someone please help me install this theme because something isn't working right. I followed every step and all your support forums, I'd appreciate help. Thank you.

This is what my site looks like right now, with errors every time I upload theme or try to import demos. Is there someone who can respond to me today?  If not, I'm okay going with refund route. Too many hours for nothing.

    Hello,

Please provide us with WP Dashboard and FTP login credentials in private answer to check the issue with the theme installation. Also specify which demo version you want to import. Thank you.

    Regards.

    Hello,

The mentioned demo page is imported. Please check your site now.

    Regards.

Thank you very much. Everything seems to be very good except one error. On all of my "demo imported pages" there is a background image I can't seem to remove. (See attachment) is there any way to remove this background image as it's on every demo page that was imported.

    Thank you,

    Nick
