Modify mobile menu to open expanded

    Hi -

    Is it possible to customize the mobile menu to open in expanded view? I want to remove the extra step of clicking on the arrow to expand the view of sub categories.

    I tried this option in the theme settings, but didn't get any result:

    Expand/Collapse Sub-menu by Touching?
    This setting makes the upper menu item (which has sub-menu) responsive to the touch, expand/collapse sub-menu items.

    Thanks in advance,

    -Peter

    Hi Alexander -

    Thanks for looking into it. Sorry, I forgot I turned on 2FA for the site!

    I cleared all the caches, but still see the same thing, the mobile menu is collapsed.

    Should the theme setting "Expand/Collapse Sub-menu by Touching?" be on or off?

    Thanks,

    -Peter

    Try to add this css.

    #mobile-menu .menu-mobile li.menu-item.open > ul.sub-menu {
        display: block;
    }

    Fantastic - it worked on my desktop!

    I think my phone needs to clear it's cache so I'll give it some time...

    Thank you so much!

    I discovered something that maybe helpful to someone - you probably already know this Alexander!

    The css needs to be in the Level Up > General Settings > Custom CSS field to work.

    I first used it in the Wordpress > Appearance > Custom CSS and it wouldn't show up on my phone, a cache issue?

    Maybe. Custom css insert directly in html page, and cahed with html.

    Hi Alexander -

    The CSS that was working stopped working! I have double checked the code below is in place, but I noticed today that the menu no longer is expanded when opened. I have refreshed many caches, tried removing the CSS and putting it back in.

    Any ideas for a solution?

    Thanks,

    -Peter
